Halley Nursery
Pre-school childcare at UWE is provided in an exceptional purpose-built facility with large, bright airy rooms and a fantastic garden for outdoor activities.
Childcare facility
Halley Nursery was opened in 2007 to care for a maximum of 62 children from three months to five years old. Located on the main Frenchay campus and run by the UWE Students’ Union it is open to students, staff and the local community.
The facility is the culmination of a project involving input from professionals, parents and carers, and the children themselves to create a friendly, safe and fun environment for play and education.
Safety and security
Thanks to the nursery's focus on safety, parents are able to concentrate on work or study while the excellent staff take care of their child’s needs.
Halley Nursery has a secure entry system and fenced garden to give peace-of-mind. The dedicated drop-off and pick-up points ensure the safe environment extends beyond the nursery building.
