UWE versus University of Bristol
Every year the Varsity Series adds more than a little spice to our sporting calendar. The intense but friendly rivalry between the universities ensures that each event is contended with passion and has fervent support from the sidelines.
Embracing the rivalry
There are competitions in an impressive variety of sports including squash, badminton, fencing, lacrosse and netball alongside the traditional highlight events - rugby union, football and rowing.
Varsity Series 2012 events
Now in its 18th year, the Varsity Series continues to inspire the sports people of UWE to rise to the challenge of Bristol University and secure local bragging rights. The UWE Students' Union provides a Varsity Series 2012 list of events and results.
