How to buy guest tickets
For the July 2013 ceremonies, you will be sent an e-mail from the Graduation Team in April inviting you to register your attendance and offer you the opportunity to purchase guest tickets. The University makes a charge for each guest ticket to cover the cost of holding the event, a souvenir programme and refreshments after the ceremony.
To purchase guest tickets, you will need a credit or debit card and billing address. You will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two guest tickets, with an opportunity to purchase extra guest tickets nearer the time. Please see the deadlines web page for information on deadlines dates for purchasing guest tickets. Guest tickets cost £33 each (including VAT).
Attendance is free of charge to all graduating students. Children under the age of three, who can sit on another guests knee do not require a ticket.
Refunds
Once you have had your award conferred by an award board and have registered to attend your ceremony, the cost of guest tickets is only refundable in exceptional circumstances. Please be sure your guests will be able to attend before purchasing tickets. Refund requests should be made in writing to the Graduation Team.
Ticket collection
Guest tickets will not be posted but will be available for collection at the Cathedral when you arrive for your ceremony. Please bring your confirmation of purchase e-mail from the UWE Online Store with you to the event.
