Ceremony dates

Class of 2024

The July 2024 graduations ceremony for each college are:

• Monday 15 July – Thursday 18 July: College of Arts, Technology and Environment
• Thursday 18 July – Tuesday 23 July: College of Health, Science and Society
• Tuesday 23 July – Thursday 25 July: College of Business and Law.

Once the ceremony schedule has been confirmed, all provisionally eligible students will receive an invitation.

We are currently working on the ceremony schedule. The specific dates and ceremony times will be published here at the end of April.

Booking deadline

If you are eligible and wish to attend a ceremony in July 2024, you must complete your booking by Friday 21 June 2024 to secure your place and your free guest tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and could sell out before the booking deadline. If there are no places left you will be guaranteed an invite to a future graduation ceremony, as long as you contact the graduation team in advance.

If you are awaiting final results or applying for a visa, you must still book your place by the deadline if you wish to attend. If you are no longer able/eligible to attend, please review our guidance on cancellations and refunds.

If you do not book your place by the deadline, you will not be able to attend your ceremony or do the following:

• graduate at the upcoming ceremony series
• attend a graduation ceremony with your cohort
• sit with your cohort within the graduation ceremony
• book or buy guest tickets – you may not be able to bring anyone with you on the day
• book robes
• book photography.

Additional guest tickets

Additional guest tickets may be available after the booking deadline but cannot be guaranteed. Graduates will be emailed regarding additional guest ticket availability for their ceremony once the deadline has passed – please check your emails for more information.

Robe hire deadline

If you would like to wear an academic robe for your graduation, the deadline for hiring a robe will be in June 2024. For queries about your order, please contact Ede & Ravenscroft.

Extenuating personal circumstances

If you miss the deadline due to an extenuating personal circumstance, please contact the graduation team as soon as possible and detail the reason why you were unable to book. As per our terms and conditions, we cannot guarantee that requests will be granted but we will come back to you as soon as we can once a decision has been reached.
