Getting started

Three students walking in Bristol

Finding the right course

From ordering a prospectus and searching for courses to detailed information on application deadlines and UCAS, our Applying to UWE section is a great starting point.

And if your parents or carers want an overview, we've devised a helpful guide for them too.

Explore the University

Undergraduate Open Days take place all year round at UWE. For the latest dates and to register, visit our Open Day pages. There's a chance to see our accommodation both on campus and in the city centre, speak to departmental staff and academics as well as see Bristol itself.

Find somewhere to live

If you need a place to live during your time at UWE, look through our accommodation options which give details of rental costs and all the extras included in the price.

UWE accommodation is guaranteed to all undergraduate students providing you apply by the given deadline. You can choose to live on campus, in the City Centre or in uwe-managed accommodation. Alternatively, we can provide a list of recommended private accommodation.

Money matters

For the year 2012/13 the annual course fee for most Home/EU full-time undergraduate students will be £9000.

Please note, course fees may differ depending on duration and entry level; contact us if you would like to discuss this further.

You may be eligible for further funding or scholarships to help cover the cost of your study. For full and up-to-date details as well as information on 2012 changes, visit our fees and funding pages.

hello+welcome

Our new students information has everything you need to know about student registration, Welcome Weekend and starting your UWE journey. We hope to see you soon.
