Career prospects

UWE mock courtroom

Confident, employable students

Unique to UWE, the Graduate Development Programme (GDP) was developed with employers to help students develop their confidence and independence and enhance their personal achievement and employability.

World-class careers service

Our careers service came 3rd in the International Student Barometer Survey 2009, completed by over 90,000 students across the world. With support such as specially-trained Careers consultants and CV and application workshops, the team is an invaluable resource for guiding students along the path to their chosen career.

Skills for life

Team working as well as communication, research and organisational skills are valuable key skills that employers look for. The UWE MyFuture service helps our students to identify and develop their key skills to increase their employability after their time at university.
