What happens to my application?

UCAS or the University will acknowledge receipt of your application within seven days. UCAS send on your details to the University who then carefully considers your application.

The progress of your application can be tracked via your UWE Welcome website.  UWE will normally be able to notify you (and UCAS) of our decision within 14 days, unless we require you to attend an interview, or we need further information.  Any decision we make will be visible in your UWE Welcome website as well as UCAS Track.

We will also send communications to your UWE Welcome website to inform you of any action that must be taken in order to progress your application so it is important to log in regularly and keep up to date.

Registration and enrolment

Once the application process is complete and you meet the conditions of your offer from your chosen university, the enrolment process or registration can begin. At UWE this is done online prior to the start date - leaving the first day free for socialising and getting to know your new home.

Explore your new university

Between applying and enrolling it is advisable to investigate accommodation options and any financial considerations such as tuition fees, loans, grants and bursaries. Much of the information gathering can be done online or at a university Open Day.
