UWE Alumni Scholarship
We are delighted to offer UWE alumni a tuition fee discount of 15% on our full-time and part-time taught postgraduate courses.
There are some full-time and part-time courses where the 15% discount does not apply. View the alumni discount exclusion list for full details.
The discount does not apply to retake modules or integrated/continuing professional development courses.
UWE alumni who have successfully completed a UWE degree programme (foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate) including students who have successfully completed a UWE degree programme which is delivered at one of our partner institutions in the UK or overseas.
How to apply
No application required. Simply include your UWE student registration number in your postgraduate study application and the discount will be applied to your student record as soon as your entitlement has been confirmed.
The discount equals 15% off the full course cost. The discount will be applied at the start of the course for full-time students. Part-time students will receive the discount at the start of each new study year.

UWE’s Postgraduate Support Scheme – Care leaver bursaries
UWE has 10 bursaries of £10,000 each for students starting a full-time taught masters at UWE in 2015/16. To qualify, you must currently be in your final year, liable for the tuition fees of £9,000 and have spent at least 3 months in local authority care since the age of 14. The bursary will provide £5,000 towards your tuition fees and the balance paid towards your living costs after you register on your course. To apply, please e-mail UWE.email@example.com.

Centre for Sport - Sports Bursaries
The University awards several sports bursaries up to a maximum value of £3,000. These awards are allocated to support top performing athletes whose sport fits within the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) framework. Bursary amounts are decided on a case by case basis and available at the discretion of the Head of Sport.

Transport Planning Scholarships
These scholarships are for those who study transport masters programmes.
Scholarships from a variety of sources are available for applicants looking to study full-time on the MSc Transport Planning and MSc Transport Engineering and Planning programmes. The programme leader will write to applicants about these during the summer prior to admission.
