UWE Alumni Scholarship
We are delighted to offer UWE alumni a tuition fee discount on our full-time taught postgraduate courses* starting in the 2011/12 academic year.

Eligibility
UWE alumni who have successfully completed a UWE degree programme (foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate) including students who have successfully completed a UWE degree programme which is delivered at one of our partner institutions in the UK or overseas.
How to apply
No application required. Simply include your UWE student registration number in your postgraduate study application and the discount will be applied to your student record as soon as your entitlement has been confirmed.
*Excluding: postgraduate research, Health and Social Care postgraduate and professional development courses and PGCE courses.

Centre for Sport - Sports Bursaries
The University awards several sports bursaries up to a maximum value of £3,000. These awards are allocated to support top performing athletes whose sport fits within the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) framework. Bursary amounts are decided on a case by case basis and available at the discretion of the Head of Sport.

UWE Study Abroad/Placement Bursary
The International Development Office will be offering 20 study abroad/placement travel bursaries worth £1,000 each. Students will be required to apply for these bursaries and as part of the bursary will be required to promote UWE in the institution they are attending and the Study Abroad Scheme when they return to UWE.

Transport Planning Scholarships
A small number of Transport Planning Scholarships worth up to £3,000 are available for applicants looking to study full time on the MSc Transport Planning in the Department of Planning and Architecture. These scholarships are open to all applicants starting in September 2012.
