UWE Postgraduate Talent Scholarships
A key aim of the Government is to create a more highly skilled workforce that can meet the needs of UK industry across all sectors and rise to the challenges of a global marketplace.
UWE Bristol is offering 11 new Postgraduate Talent Scholarships in 10 key areas, which will help students to achieve their career ambitions and to provide home-grown talent to UK industry.

UWE Alumni Scholarship
We are delighted to offer UWE alumni a tuition fee discount of 15% on our full-time and part-time taught postgraduate courses* starting in the 2013/14 academic year.
UWE alumni who have successfully completed a UWE degree programme (foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate) including students who have successfully completed a UWE degree programme which is delivered at one of our partner institutions in the UK or overseas.
How to apply
No application required. Simply include your UWE student registration number in your postgraduate study application and the discount will be applied to your student record as soon as your entitlement has been confirmed.
The discount equals 15% off the full course cost. The discount will be applied at the start of the course for full-time students. Part-time students will receive the discount at the start of each new study year. The discount does not apply to retake modules.
* Excluding Health and Social Care postgraduate courses, PGCE courses and any professional development and short courses.

Centre for Sport - Sports Bursaries
The University awards several sports bursaries up to a maximum value of £3,000. These awards are allocated to support top performing athletes whose sport fits within the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) framework. Bursary amounts are decided on a case by case basis and available at the discretion of the Head of Sport.

Transport Planning Scholarships
A small number of Transport Planning Scholarships worth up to £3,000 are available for applicants looking to study full-time on the MSc Transport Planning in the Department of Planning and Architecture (except those already in receipt of another scholarship or bursary exceeding £3,000).
