UWE Alumni Scholarship
We are delighted to offer UWE alumni a tuition fee discount of 15% on our full-time and part-time taught postgraduate courses.
There are some full-time and part-time courses where the 15% discount does not apply. View the alumni discount exclusion list for full details.
The discount does not apply to retake modules or integrated/continuing professional development courses.
UWE alumni who have successfully completed a UWE Bristol degree programme (foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate) including students who have successfully completed a UWE Bristol degree programme which is delivered at one of our partner institutions in the UK or overseas.
How to apply
No application required. Simply include your UWE Bristol student registration number in your postgraduate study application and the discount will be applied to your student record as soon as your entitlement has been confirmed.
The discount equals 15% off the full course cost. The discount will be applied at the start of the course for full-time students. Part-time students will receive the discount at the start of each new study year.

Centre for Sport – Sports Bursaries
The University awards several sports bursaries up to a maximum value of £3,000. These awards are allocated to support top performing athletes whose sport fits within the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) framework. Bursary amounts are decided on a case by case basis and available at the discretion of the Head of Sport.

Transport Planning Scholarships
These scholarships are for those who study transport masters programmes.
Scholarships from the Brian Large Bursary Fund and the Rees Jeffreys Road Fund are available for applicants looking to study full-time on the MSc Transport Planning and MSc Transport Engineering and Planning programmes. The programme leader John Parkin(firstname.lastname@example.org) will write to eligible applicants who have been offered a place on one of the programmes during the early summer prior to admission.
The Brian Large Bursary Fund provides a contribution towards academic fees and living expenses during the year's study. The Rees Jeffreys Road Fund exists to promote education, research and physical projects related to road transport.
The awards are made in national competition each year, and are a highly prestigious addition to the CV of any successful candidate. A number of students on the UWE Bristol transport masters programmes have received these awards in recent years. In addition, there is the possibility of applying for a research bursary from the British Parking Association when you are a student to assist with a dissertation topic linked with parking.
