Appointments with a finance and immigration adviser

Prospective students

Due to the demand for our appointments, we only offer a limited advice service to prospective students. See the information on our website or request one of our information sheets through our student enquiry form.

If you have applied to UWE to start in 2012 contact us on Wednesday between 10:00 and 16:00 to speak to a financial adviser. No appointment is necessary. Call us on +44 (0)117 32 85678.

Current students

We offer booked appointments by phone or in person. Appointments are available at Frenchay Campus all year and at Glenside, Bower Ashton and St. Matthias Campuses during term time. You will need to ring us on a Thursday to book an appointment for the following week.

In the case of an emergency (eg actual eviction, visit by bailiffs, police action), we will try to give urgent advice or support in the most appropriate way, subject to suitably trained staff being available.

How to book

We will try our best to see you within five days of your initial contact but at busy times (especially in September, October and November) it may take longer. Alternatively, another agency such as the Students' Union Advice Centre may be able to provide the information or services that you are seeking.

Care leavers

We have a dedicated adviser to help you access the support you need. Please contact us on +44 (0) 117 32 85678 or send us your query through our student enquiry form (please indicate you are a care leaver). View available support for Care leavers.

Registration enquiries

All registration enquiries are dealt with by the Registration Team.
