Getting work experience
High-quality, relevant work experience; paid or unpaid, can put you at a distinct advantage when applying for permanent employment in the future. It is also an essential pre-requisite for many graduate careers. Prospective employers and some postgraduate study providers will be expecting to see something more recent.
Work experience through UWE
UWE offers a variety of opportunities for work experience including volunteering, opportunties through the Students' Union and placements.
Employability and Diversity Programme
Help for students from groups underrepresented in the graduate labour market to overcome the barriers they might face when competing for graduate jobs.
