GDP information for employers

Two people shaking hands

The Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is an integral part of courses offered at UWE. It is a professional development programme designed to enhance both personal achievement and performance.

Supporting student development

Development activities are aimed at meeting the requirements of students moving through their course. For example, specific study skills in year 1, skills identified through our work with employers in year 2 and research skills in year 3.

We also see the GDP as a way for students to demonstrate continuous personal and professional development to prospective employers, in addition to their degree qualification. See views of employers recognising the programme.

How to get involved

If you would like to know more about GDP, or would be interested in contributing your professional opinion to the programme from an employer’s perspective, we would like to hear from you. Please e-mail us at gdp@uwe.ac.uk.
