Celebrating UWE Bristol Talent is our prestigious annual event which recognises the outstanding achievements of our talented students in various work-based employability related activities.

These awards also provide an opportunity to recognise and reward key employer partners including award sponsors, employers who have nominated their students and those who have actively engaged with our students throughout the academic year.

Nominate a student

If you have recruited an intern or placement student who has exceeded your expectations you can nominate them for one of the below Celebrating UWE Bristol Talent Awards:

Undergraduate Intern of the Year Award

This award recognises students who have undertaken a summer internship and have exceeded employer expectations.

You will be issued a feedback form if you have recruited an intern. You can use this form to nominate your student if you believe they have exceeded expectations.

Placement Students of the Year

These awards are designed to recognise the outstanding achievements of our UWE Bristol students during their sandwich placements, with nominations based on feedback from their employers. The Placement Student awards are:

  • Faculty of Business and Law Placement Student of the Year
  • Faculty of Environment and Technology Placement Student of the Year
  • Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences Placement Student of the Year.

You will be issued a feedback form if you have recruited a placement student. You can use this form to nominate your student if you believe they have exceeded expectations.
