Arriving at UWE Bristol
Finding your accommodation
Our Campus maps and information page provides directions and maps to the UWE Bristol campuses. See our accommodation map to locate your accommodation. Students allocated to City Centre accommodation will be sent directions by Unite Students or Prime Student Living.
Parking on site
Many sites have no parking so you will need to bear this in mind when you are packing – you may want to avoid packing large heavy boxes that are difficult to carry. The University does not accept responsibility for any actions taken or fines imposed by the local councils in relation to illegal parking.
Faults or problems on arrival
We aim to ensure that your accommodation is in good order on your arrival. However, if you experience any problems or find faults when you first move in then please report these to us via the Repairs Request Form or by telephone on +44 (0)117 32 83601. Problems will be dealt with in order of urgency – less urgent problems may take a little longer to rectify at the start of the academic year. If you are living in City Centre accommodation please report any problems to your Accommodation Reception.
Who will I be living with?
Due to the Data Protection Act 1998 the University cannot provide you with the details of your new flat and housemates. However, many students visit social networking sites such as Facebook (UWE Accommodation Customer Services) or Twitter (@uweaccom) to make contact with other people who will be living in their area.
If you choose to use any social media to find flat mates please remember that the majority of these sites are public and anyone can view your name and possibly your address online, including other personal details.
