Credit accumulation and transfer

UWE Environment and Technology students

Credit is the method by which the University normally quantifies and specifies student achievement.

The majority of the awards that the University offers are credit rated under the University’s Academic Regulations and Procedures (extract).

Credit may be accumulated through the normal route of registering with the University to study credit rated modules. Alternatively, credit may be awarded or achieved as Accredited Learning (AL) or Accredited Experiential Learning (AEL).

Credit awarded may also be rated in accordance with the European Credit Transfer Scheme (ECTS) and recorded using the ECTS conversion method by the University.
