UWE Student Conference 2017 – registration now open
Registration is now open for the first UWE Student Conference, which will celebrate research, enquiry, and evidence-based practice from both undergraduate and postgraduate taught students.
The Student Conference is your opportunity to hear from 80 students across all years of study and disciplines as they present their work year as verbal papers or posters.
Organised jointly by staff and students, the event is free and takes place on Monday 10 April 2017 at the Exhibition and Conference Centre (ECC), Frenchay Campus.
This free event is open to everyone (students, UWE Bristol staff, family and employers) and offers opportunities for networking and learning. Students will be able to learn about the nature of research and undertaking a dissertation, while employers may find their next placement student.
Prizes will be awarded by our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Steve West CBE. There will also be a keynote presentation from Professor Helen Walkington of Oxford Brookes University.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the event.
