PCs and study spaces

PCs
All UWE libraries have PCs that can be accessed with a UWE network username and password.
Library PCs have a variety of access methods:
- Open and unlimited access
- Bookable in advance, limited to 2 or 3 hours continuous use
- Quick access PCs, limited to 15 minutes continuous use

Wireless internet access
If you have your own computer you can access wireless internet across UWE using the Net Plus system.
If you are visiting from another institution, you may be able to use the eduroam service.
Study spaces
All UWE libraries have spaces for different kinds of study, including:
- Silent study - for those wishing to study alone and in silence
- Quiet study - for those wishing to study alone
- Group study - group working and bookable group study rooms
- Facilities for viewing videos and DVDs
- Academic support room for staff (Frenchay only)
In addition, all libraries have an area where you can receive help and advice from library staff.

Mini code of conduct
- Please talk in group study areas and stairwells only
- Cold food and drinks with lids are welcome
- Please leave study areas clean and tidy
