Services to support disabled students are available at all UWE campus libraries. For further information, please ask a Librarian.
Using the library
Additional services are available to help find things, borrow, photocopy and study, including training and bookable study rooms equipped with assistive technology.
Assistive technology at UWE
Technology and software available across UWE, such as Read and Write, CCTV, Braille embossers and digital voice recorders. All campus libraries have an assistive technology area or dedicated PC.
Assistive equipment loans service
Small items of assistive technology such as digital voice recorders, can be loaned from the library.
Alternative formats service
The alternative formats service can scan books and journal articles, enlarge text or convert to audio.
