BFI InView is a moving image collection of over 2,000 non-fiction and television titles from the 20th Century and early 21st Century.
Note: BFI InView is accessible via networked thick-client
machines, home pcs and laptops. However, access to the film clips
via networked thin-client terminals is unreliable. For on-campus
and off-campus access: from the homepage, click on the 'log in now'
blue button for Members of UK Higher and Further Education. Under
'Choose from list' locate University of the West of England and
click on 'select'. This should log you in and send you back to the
homepage.

Description
BoB is an off-air recording and media archive service. BoB is available to staff and students of member institutions of the British Universities Film & Video Council that hold an ERA+ license. This TV scheduling service allows you to record TV and radio programmes that are scheduled to be broadcast over the next seven days as well as retrieving programmes from the last seven days from a selected list of recorded channels.

Audio files from four archives of Independent Local Radio from 1973 to 1996: the Independent Radio Sharing Archive (1973-1990) brings together materials originally created as the Independent Local Radio (ILR) Sharing Scheme for which those working in features, drama, music and news departments of commercial radio could offer their work to be used throughout the UK; LBC/Independent Radio News Archive (4,000 hours of content from the collections of the London Broadcasting Company/ Independent Radio News Archive, from its beginnings in 1973 up to 1995); ILR South (1300 programmes deposited by independent local radio stations in Dorset, Hampshrie and Berkshire area); Radio Research Database (this resource aims to carry a record of all current radio-centred research in the UK).

Description
MediaHub is the "definitive academic video, image and sound resource", enabling you to search one interface for audio, moving and still images from a number of collections. The material includes video, image and sound from Film and Sound Online, NewsFilm Online and Digital Images for Education, as well as linking out to various other restricted and unrestricted resources.
