Audiovisual collection
UWE has an extensive collection of films, documentaries, TV programmes, CDs and other multimedia, which can be borrowed free of charge.
Find audiovisual material
Use the library search to find audiovisual items available on the shelf in any UWE library (you might need to limit the search results to 'Content Type: video-recording').
If you want to browse, cinema and documentary films and TV programmes are shelved in the 791 section. Subject-related material is shelved with the books on the same topics (except at Bower Ashton, where there is a separate AV room housing all AV material).
UWE also subscribes to a TV on-demand service called Box of Broadcasts (BoB). BoB allows you to search its archive of TV and radio broadcasts, watch them online, and request recordings of upcoming programmes.
Play audiovisual material
You can often borrow items to play at home. Or, if you prefer, all libraries have audio, video and DVD players (headphones are available to borrow) and study rooms suitable for group viewings. Ask at a library enquiry desk for further information.
