Renewing
How do I renew my loan?
There are three ways to renew items you've borrowed:
- Log in to your library account and renew items online
- Use the self-service machines in the library
- Phone +44(0)117 32 82092 for the automated telephone renewal service
How many times can I renew?
You can usually renew items up to five times, unless:
- The item has been reserved by another user (i.e. had a hold placed on it)
- You have more than £5 in accrued charges, or in accruing fines
- The item is from the short loan collection or an overnight loan
- The item has been obtained for you from a non-UWE library
How will I know when to renew an item?
To check when items are due log in to your library account.
You may also receive a courtesy e-mail, to your UWE e-mail account, reminding you that the item is due.
