IT Service Desk contact

The IT Service Desk is contactable by phone and email and open from 8:30am to 5:00pm Mondays to Thursdays and 4:30pm on Friday.

There is a 'Out of Hours' phone service available to support students and staff open from 5:00pm to 8:00am weekdays and all day weekends, bank holidays and UWE closure days. The 'Out of Hours' service is unable to respond to emails sent to itonline@uwe.ac.uk and these will be addressed from 8:30am the next working day and actioned as soon as possible.

When contacting the IT Service Desk, please have the following information ready to assist us with dealing with your query:

  • Your UWE Username and/or Student Number
  • Your UWE computer name and if it is a printer problem the serial number of the printer
  • Details of the problem including any error messages and when it last worked
