Public involvement in research

The Centre is committed to supporting the involvement of the public including service users, patients and carers in research. Over the last three years a number of Centre projects have involved members of the public in a variety of ways and at all stages of the research process including the design of studies, data collection, analysis and dissemination.

Public involvement in research is supported by a Service User and Carer Office, recognised status as ‘research partners’ for members of the public who get involved in research and learning and development opportunities.

For more information contact the Faculty lead Dr Andy Gibson or the Service User and Carer Administrator: +44 (0)117 32 88556.
