Appearance Matters 8 conference venue
The conference will be held in the prestigious and elegant Assembly Rooms located in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. The private evening Drinks Reception will be held at sunset in the Roman Baths and the Conference Dinner will be held in the grand and stunning Pump Room.

Coats and luggage
Due to the heritage listed status of The Assembly Rooms, no luggage can be stored at the venue (including rucksacks and suitcases). Luggage storage facilities are available throughout Bath. There is an unsupervised coat rail.
The building is accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access to the ground floor Assembly Rooms and a wheelchair is available for use. There is a lift from the ground floor to the Fashion Museum on the lower ground floor, and an emergency exit ramp.
There is an accessible toilet on the lower ground floor.
The nearest accessible car parking spaces to the Assembly Rooms are on either side of Bennett Street where it joins Lansdown Road (approximately 100–150 m away) or on Alfred Street opposite the Assembly Rooms Pub (approximately 80 m away).
Visitors with hearing impairments
Other accessible features include audio guides compatible with the "T" switch on hearing aids. Alternatively, we can provide a copy of the audio guide text (with reading torch) to read during your visit.
