Following a highly successful Appearance Matters 9 Online Conference held in July 2021, we are excited to be back with an in-person conference in 2024, celebrating the 10th Appearance Matters conference (AM10) from Tuesday 11 June to Thursday 13 June 2024.

For 2024, we are bringing the conference home to the beautiful city of Bristol, where the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is based!

The conference will be held at the iconic City Hall (left), perfectly located in the heart of the city centre and bordering College Green park and the 12th-century Bristol Cathedral.

A range of accommodation and transport options are available near the conference venue, but it is recommended that you plan your visit and book early to secure the best rates!

We are thrilled to announce our keynote speakers, Professor Phillippa Diedrichs (UWE Bristol, UK) and Dr Kathleen Bogart (Oregon State University, USA).
