CAR collaborates with a wide variety of organisations including charities, health service providers, government bodies and academic institutions in the UK and internationally.

Changing Faces

CAR and Changing Faces have enjoyed a close relationship since the inception of CAR and have collaborated on numerous projects.

Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA)

CAR is working with CLAPA to evaluate service provision and support needs for individuals and families affected by cleft lip and pate.

The Succeed Foundation

Researchers at CAR are working on a number of projects in collaboration with The Succeed Foundation, including evaluating the Succeed Body Image Programme.

All Party Parliamentary Group on Body Image (APPG)

Researchers at CAR were heavily involved with the public inquiry co-ordinated by the APPG from the outset, with members providing evidence, witnessing all sessions and contributing to the written report.

CAR have worked in partnership with the Dove Self-Esteem Project on a number of coordinated projects to improve young people’s body image across the world, reaching over 8 million young people since 2012. The partnership was shortlisted for a Times Higher Education Award in 2016.

The World Association of Girl Guides and Scouts(WAGGGS)

In conjunction with Dove, CAR have worked closely with WAGGGS to reach their members globally with evidence-based body image interventions.
