Research in the Department of Applied Sciences
The Department of Applied Sciences is active in many areas of research and has established research projects attracting funding from various bodies both in the UK and abroad.
The Department also hosts the Centre for Research in Biosciences, bringing together world class researchers working in the fields of biomedicine, bio-sensing technology, plant science and environmental science.
Researchers in the Department also work closely with colleagues in other research centres and institutes.
