About the WHO Centre
The WHO Collaborating Centre has been supporting healthy cities movement since 1995.
As one of only two WHO Collaborating Centres in the world situated in a built environment faculty we are recognised as a leader in the emerging field of healthy urban planning. Our staff promote healthy and sustainable settlements through a combination of research, training, consultancy and publications.
Our work with municipalities, planning consultancies and health authorities in the UK and through the wider European WHO Healthy Cities network.
