Project summary

The Bristol Civic Leadership Project is the first ‘before’ and ‘after’ study of the impact of the mayoral model of governance carried out anywhere in the world.  It aims to assess what difference a directly elected mayor makes, and it also seeks to contribute ideas on how to improve the way the mayoral model of governance can operate.
