The department has a drive to engage in research which is of direct relevance to industry, society and the environment.
Our research covers a wide range of subjects within the fields of computer science, computer systems and information systems.
Projects take place at local, national and international levels, enabled by the size and disciplinary diversity of the school. We aim to demonstrate research excellence linked to excellence in teaching by encouraging the application of multiple perspectives to the exploration of new and emerging technologies.
