It includes footage of:

  • early coal fires and ranges
  • gas geysers and gas fires
  • early electric heating
  • cylinder arrangements and manufacture, radiator systems
  • boiler manufacture
  • pipework, boiler controls, condensing boilers, and so on.

The film is not intended as a recipe for good practice but serves to familiarise the viewer with the evolution and principles of modern central heating.
