Entry requirements

The experienced UWE International team will be happy to give you advice on the suitability of your qualifications for your chosen programme of study. Qualifications listed under each heading may satisfy UWE entry requirements to that level of study. This is not a guarantee of an offer of a place, which is at the University’s discretion.

All students must also have a recognised English language qualification. For postgraduate entry requirements, please refer to individual course descriptions within the courses database.

  • Entry onto Undergraduate
    Applicants who hold the Attestat o Srednem Obrazovanii (Certificate of Secondary Education) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation/bridging programme will be considered for admission to Undergraduate degree programmes.
    Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Russian University degree will be considered for admission to the first year of our Undergraduate degree programmes.
    Applicants who have successfully completed the Bakalavr or of the Specialist Diploma may be considered for advanced entry (Year 2 or 3) or Pre-Masters programmes.

  • Entry onto Postgraduate
    Holders of a good Bachelor (Hons) Degree or Specialist Diploma awarded by a University in Russia will be considered for entry onto a Masters programme.
    Holders of a good Masters (Magistr) Degrees awarded by a University in Russia will be considered for PhD study.

Scholarships

The UWE Scholarship programme offers more than £600,000 worth of scholarships for international students each year.

There are also a number of scholarships available outside of UWE to international students wishing to study at a UK university.

The Careers Service at UWE provides a specific programme of careers advice and events for international students during your time at the university; including guidance interviews, workshops, careers fairs and work placement opportunities.
