Optometry and Clinical Skills Centre
A practical learning space for trainee optometrists, paramedics, nurses and occupational therapy students.
Skills and Simulation Centre
Step onto our real replica hospital ward at Glenside Campus, complete with consultation rooms, maternity and children’s unit. The centre uses all the same equipment that’s used in NHS hospitals so you can learn how to deliver effective healthcare in safe surroundings.
Glenside Sports Injury Clinic
Managed by a team of BSc(Hons) Sports Rehabilitation students, Glenside Sports Injury Clinic is open to UWE Bristol students, staff and members of the public. The clinic offers a range of services to assess and rehabilitate sport and exercise-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Simulation House
Practice, test and expand paramedic or forensic skills for real in our specially modified Simulation House.
Virtual Environment Radiotherapy Training facilities
Radiography students benefit from this amazing training platform which develops invaluable operational skills and builds confidence away from the pressured clinical environment.

Glenside Campus, UWE Bristol, Blackberry Hill, Fishponds, Bristol, BS16 1DD.
1. Transport
There are regular buses to the city centre, Frenchay Campus (3 miles away) and Fishponds Road. There are also plenty of cycle paths for fresh air and exercise.
2. Outdoor space
There's plenty of green, open space on Glenside Campus itself. Pick your own fruit in the summer months and find herbs for your cooking. Ready for a break? Explore Snuff Mills and the Oldbury Court Estate – perfect for walks, bikes, even yoga.
3. Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants
Fishponds Road is a bustling hub of shops, restaurants and cafes. Supermarkets sit alongside independent shops, and there’s a GP and dentist within a short walk.
4. Campus community
Glenside has its own Students' Union on campus, specialist health and social care library and a range of cafes and restaurants.
