About Frenchay Campus
Frenchay Campus, the University's main campus, lies just four miles north of Bristol city centre.
Local transport
Regular Wessex Red and local bus services provide excellent transport links to other Bristol based UWE campuses, the city centre and surrounding areas, and nearby Bristol Parkway train station.
Fantastic facilities
UWE is committed to providing first class campus facilities and recent developments at Frenchay include a multi-million pound Student Village, Centre for Sport, new cinema facilities, University Health Centre, and the opening of the new UWE Exhibition and Conference Centre.
UWE’s administrative hub is also located at Frenchay and includes the Main reception, Student Services department, Accommodation Services, the Students' Union, the main Library, IT Services and the Language Centre. UWE's Research, Business and Innovation (RBI) centre is based in Wallscourt House, just across the road from the main Campus.
Other facilities on site include numerous food and drink outlets, Student Union bar and supermarket, a laundrette, and branches of Blackwells bookshop, STA Travel and NatWest bank.
