UWE Long Nineteenth-Century Network (LNCN)

The UWE Long Nineteenth Century Network (LNCN) was established in January 2011. Located in UWE's Department of Arts and Cultural Industries, it is coordinated by Professor William Greenslade and colleagues in English.

Deliberately taking the long view of nineteenth-century studies, this research group aims to capture and promote research interest in the Humanities in the period c1760-c1940. It also aims to offer a forum for collaborative activity across the Department and with other scholars in the UK, particularly from those working in universities in the South West region, to provide a platform for partnerships between scholars and practitioners in the museum, library and creative industries sectors and to offer a focal point for academics and members of the public to share their work and enthusiasms.

For further information about the LNCN, please e-mail Professor William Greenslade.
