The Department of Education at UWE's Frenchay Campus has excellent facilities and resources for learning and teaching. Our high quality teaching rooms model contemporary classrooms so our trainee teachers can practice in an environment similar to a school situation. The Department and the wider university offer a range of excellent purpose built resources, including a performing arts centre.
Our specialist academic staff and professional technicians lead workshops and provide resources to support your studies and work with children. We ensure trainees’ IT skills are developed using multi-media technology in teaching. Online communities are maintained via UWE’s intranet system, blogging and seminar groups of students.
