Malaria Programme Management
Professor Peter Case recently co-authored a research report entitled 'Program Management Issues in Implementation of Malaria Elimination Strategies' for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).
About the report
The report identifies best practices in malaria control and elimination programmes worldwide and recommends an investment strategy for BMGF. Following presentation of the report to the BMGF Strategy Advisory Group in Seattle, Peter has been appointed Project Director for a program entitled: 'Restratificaiton of epidemiology and development of interventions for more effective control and elimination of malaria in Vietnam'.
Other partners engaged with this work include: Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health; Pittsburgh Supercomputing Centre, Carnegie Mellon University; Australian Army Malaria Institute; University of Queensland, School of Medicine.
