Behaviour change projects
The Bristol Leadership and Change Centre researchers undertake studies in a number of key strategic theme areas, including:
The use of wearables, social media and apps to influence behaviour change.
Communication behaviours, ideology and persuasive communication behaviours, interpersonal language, linguistics, conversational analysis and word of mouth.
Using social media and networks to understand human interactions and behaviours. Includes research on how social media and networks can influence behaviours.
Examining young people’s attitudes and vulnerabilities with regards to specific health issues, as well as understanding their awareness of the associated risks and behaviours.
Exploring the socio-cultural landscape of travel and transport behaviour, and how marketing communications can promote more sustainable transport methods such as cycling.
Details of the research carried out by the Bristol Social Marketing Centre (2007-2015) are available in our archive.
