Consultancy

BCEF’s wealth of knowledge and expertise is available to businesses, public sector organisations and government departments through a range of project and consultancy services.

Our team can help you towards a specific goal or with a long-term programme of change. We work with many organisations over the long-term, becoming a real partner in their problem solving and development. Our work includes organisational structure, change management, and restructuring and re-engineering analysis.

Our consultancy services have included:

  • advising electricity companies on how to change their tariffs to encourage use of off-peak electricity
  • working with regional businesses to understand more about what drives productivity
  • working with Bristol City Council to evaluate their Wellbeing Charter
  • advice for the Low Pay Commission on minimum wages, the pay of apprentices, and the quality and production efficiency of their statistics
  • working with a large Brazilian media conglomerate on the organisational structure for a new branch of their business, including new roles and systems.

We work in partnership and advise a number of important organisations on a regular basis, including:

  • The Patent Office
  • The Office for National Statistics
  • The European Commission
  • Bristol City Council.

As well as formal consultancy, we offer professional development training and have an extensive programme of business engagement. Recent events have included a business breakfast meeting for the ONS, and BAFA’s South West Regional Conference in 2017; upcoming events including hosting ONS’ regional Economic Forum, a workshop on finding truth in a world of big data, and training course on understanding trade statistics.

From comprehensive government policies to creating a workplace wellbeing charter – whatever the project, you’ll benefit from access to outstanding analytical skills and wide-ranging experience in all areas of business, economics and governance.
