Reuters Trading Room
Bristol Business School has set up a trading room (in 2C001) which is equipped with 10 Reuters 3000 Xtra financial systems. Reuters 3000 Xtra is the latest state-of-the-art financial platform that provides a commanding view of the global financial data, news and information. The trading room puts BBS at the forefront of business teaching and research among the universities in UK.
We endeavour to provide free training for staff and students who want to learn to use the financial system. The Reuters skills acquired can be certified which can further enhance the job prospects of students completing their study in the school.

To book for a training session
Your place in the training session is confirmed if your student number appears in the confirmation list, which is updated on every Friday. If you want to withdraw a booking, please email bbs.tradingroom@uwe.ac.uk at least two days before the training session. Failure to do so will disqualify you from taking part in the next month’s training.
To book for a Reuters test session
Free Reuters tests are available, usually takes place in the first half of a month. You need to book before the middle of the previous month. For example, to take the April test, you need to book before 15 March. Online booking form.
