Conference
Public Sector management and accounting in a time of change
Wednesday 9 February 2011
Bristol Business School invite you to our conference jointly hosted by The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and the Bristol Centre for Management Accounting Research (BRICMAR). The focus is public sector financial management issues in this climate of austerity. The event provides a forum for knowledge exchange and the sharing of experience between finance professionals, senior managers and academics.
A highlight will be a keynote address by Kevin Lavery, the Chief Executive of Cornwall Council. Kevin has an established reputation for the successful implementation of transformational projects and is an inspiring communicator. Other presentations examine topics such as service sharing, performance metrics, implications of IFRS, PFI, sustainability and developments in the NHS.
