The Distinguished Executive Address Series
Meet Leaders of Industry
Bristol Business School is committed to providing opportunities for our students, alumni, staff and members of the wider regional business community to share in the experience of those heading up major organisations.
The Distinguished Executive Address ( DEA ) series is one of the highlights of the University calendar and is a unique opportunity to hear about the challenges, issues and decisions being made at the highest level of strategic leadership directly from the leaders of organisations driving UK business performance.
The events will be held in the intimate setting of the Street Café on Frenchay Campus*, which seats up to 100 guests. Following each address there is an opportunity to put forward your own burning issues and questions to the speakers, and then after the address, network with the local/regional business community.
Our last Distinguished Executive Address series included inspirational talks from Willie Walsh, CEO of International Airlines Group, Ken Hames, BBC Director and Presenter of Farscape Development, Terry Morgan, Chairman of Crossrail, and Cynthia Carroll, Chief Executive of Anglo American.
* Please see the book to attend page for location details of each event.
The format for all these events is as follows:
18:00 Registration and refreshments
18:30 Address followed by questions and answers
19:30 Drinks, canapés and networking
20:30 Event closes
