Fees and funding

There are various financial awards, loans and scholarships available to both national and international Bristol MBA applicants.

Fees for 2014/15

The complete fees for both the full-time and part-time Bristol MBA programmes are £15,000. Payment of these fees can be made in full or by instalments.

What do the fees include?

  • Tuition for the full duration of study, lectures, seminars and student support
  • Lifetime membership with the Association of MBAs
  • Accommodation for a weekend residential at the Exhibition and Conference Centre at UWE Bristol Frenchay Campus, including meals
  • Elective programme reading material

Additional fees

Funding

Bristol MBA fees and scholarship scheme 2014 (ongoing)

Bristol MBA Scholarship

Programme: Full-time and Executive (part-time) Bristol MBA

Value of scholarship: 10% of fees (£1,500)

Eligibility: Scholarships will be available to all applicants who provide evidence of the following*:

  • Relevant career progression and achievement leading to MBA study
  • Relevant professional and/or academic development leading to MBA study
  • Written testimonial explaining how the Bristol MBA will help the applicant to better understand the business world from different perspectives.

These will be evaluated by the programme director, or a nominee, based on the application and the interview.

*Where an Alumni scholarship also applies, the current scholarship policy is that applicants are eligible for one scholarship only and will be awarded the one of highest value.

How to apply: You will be considered for this scholarship as a part of your application.

The deadline for your application is 1 July for the MBA commencing in September and 1 November for the MBA commencing in January.

UWE Alumni Scholarship (15%)

Programme: Full-time and Executive (part-time) Bristol MBA

Value of scholarship: 15% of fees.

Eligibility: You must be a UWE alumni to be entitled to the additional 15% scholarship*.

Bristol MBA Scholarship (100%)

Eligible applicants must

Up to four scholarships (one per region as detailed below) will be available for the September and January intake of the MBA

  • South America
  • Nigeria/Ghana
  • India/Nepal/Sri Lanka
  • China/Vietnam/Malaysia/Indonesia

Applicants will need to provide evidence of the following:

  • Relevant career progression and achievement leading to MBA study
  • Relevant professional and/or academic development leading to MBA study
  • Written testimonial explaining how the Bristol MBA will help the applicant to better understand the business world from different perspectives.
  • Written testimonial explaining how the Bristol MBA will help the applicant better understand the business world from the regional/country perspective  

Your application will be evaluated by the programme director, or a nominee, based on the application and the interview.

How to apply

You will be considered for this scholarship as a part of your application. Please indicate in your MBA personal statement that you wish to be considered for the 100% scholarship.

The deadline for submitting your application is 1 July for the MBA commencing in September and 1 November for the MBA commencing in January. You will be informed of our decision via your welcome website.

Bristol MBA Corporate Partner Discount

Programme: Executive (part-time) Bristol MBA only

Value of discount: Corporate discounts will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis on the number of students signed up for the programme.

Terms: The award of this discount will be evaluated by the programme director, or nominee, in negotiation with the client organisation.

Eligibility: Students must remain in employment and be sponsored by the corporate partner organisation throughout the course of study.
