The type of consultancy arrangement will vary greatly according to the client’s needs. It may, for example, involve a specific piece of research or it may involve analysing and making recommendations to resolve a particular problem.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a government-funded initiative to help you improve competitiveness, productivity and performance of your business by giving you access to knowledge, skills and technology that reside within universities. A graduate is employed, within the partner organisation, to deliver the project supported by an academic advisor. Recent examples of KTPs have included a foodservice supplier, an educational academy and a charity.
