Help more young people get into Higher Education
Did you live at home whilst studying at UWE Bristol? Help us challenge the misconception that you have to move away from home to study.
Be a role model for young people
If you lived in your family home whilst studying and work in the local area now, you could be just who we need. We’re looking for people to share their experience on the Future Quest website and help to inspire the next generation.
Your story could challenge preconceptions and help raise awareness of alternative routes into Higher Education (HE) – as well as encouraging young people from under-represented groups into HE.
Support social mobility
Future Quest’s Transition Project is working with UWE Bristol to help more young people transition to HE. They're developing programmes with schools and colleges in the Bristol area where progression into HE is very low, despite academic achievement.
The preconception that you have to move away to experience HE is one of the key barriers preventing progression for local young people. Future Quest want to support young people by overcoming this obstacle – help us tell a different story.
Contact Future.Quest@uwe.ac.uk to get involved. The deadline to submit your story is Wednesday 31 January 2018.
