The Learning and
Development Centre at UWE offers a wide range of events and
support aimed at helping staff to develop on a personal
and professional level.
Whether you would like to develop your management or communication
and presentation skills, learn new IT packages
or build your awareness of equality and diversity issues, the
Centre is here to support your development needs.
Supporting further study
We understand that we need to keep developing our staff and giving them the chance to build new skills. We offer financial support to study University courses related to your area of work, as well as time off for study leave.
There are also numerous professional development courses available and we are currently investing heavily in the development of our leaders and managers, which is seen as key priority for our continuing success.
