Our innovative powerful partnerships and cross disciplinary thinking enables us to provide a unique student experience while finding solutions to real world issues.
We have some 3,400 interactions with 1,125 business and community organisations. Our partnerships bring together knowledge, experience, networks and facilities to deliver the very best student experience and teaching, while generating solutions to some real world issues.
Our students benefit from a curriculum that is informed by employers and professional bodies, guest lecturers at the top of their careers and a diverse range of exciting, contemporary projects. Visiting lecturers add to the mix, including inspirational speakers such as Richard Noble, leader of the BLOODHOUND SSC project to build the world's fastest car, and Will King, Director of King of Shaves.
We have an outstanding reputation for user-led research applicable to real world problems. Over a third of our research is considered world class or internationally excellent, which is why we have more than doubled our research funding allocation from HEFCE.
