Governance at UWE
The University governance and management framework is arranged into three separate but connected elements; the Board of Governors, the Academic Board and the Vice Chancellors Executive.
All three elements of the University framework are set out in full as part of the University’s Articles of Government.
Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is responsible for corporate governance, strategy and risk.
Academic Board
The Academic Board is responsible for academic standards, quality and student experience.
Vice-Chancellor's Executive
The Vice Chancellors Executive is concerned with the organisation, management and leadership of the University.
