Following a review of how we communicate within UWE, a new internal communications team is being established.
The feedback shared the need for a more planned and co-ordinated approach to internal communications. In response, a range of communications channels have been introduced.
What are the channels?
Launched in March 2012, this is a summary of relevant news and key topics that you need to know about. Find out how to submit articles and view previous versions.
Launched in April 2012, this is a monthly document designed to provide everyone who leads a team with key strategic and operational information that they need for reference, action or to share with their teams through monthly team meetings.
Voice, the internal magazine was launched in May 2012. It aims to reflect working life at UWE and gives staff a voice on the key topics.
These web pages include details on how these channels should be used, distribution dates , content deadlines and basic templates to help you draft your communication effectively.
We’re committed to evolving and improving the way we communicate with you and will continue to involve you in shaping these channels.
We’ll also be measuring their effectiveness so we can continue to improve and meet your needs.
Our plans for a new intranet are underway and we’ll keep you up to date with new developments.
