Race equality charter mark
UWE Bristol is planning to submit an application to the first round of the race equality charter mark. The charter mark aims to improve the representation, progression and success of black and minority ethnic staff and students within higher education.
The charter mark aims to inspire a strategic approach to making cultural and systemic changes that will make a real difference to black and minority ethnic staff and students within higher education.
The charter mark process is based on five key principles. In applying to the charter mark, UWE Bristol is committing to adopting these principles within our policies, practices, action plans and culture.
The Self Assessment Team is responsible for the collation and submission of applications to the race equality charter mark.
